What The Fork Is Up?

!!! Gives a Fork is now a travelling food/event concept. We are no longer open at Rue David-Dufour. Find us through pop-ups, takeovers, private events, and collabs !!!

THE ART OF FEASTING ANYWHERE

Playful plates, big flavours, flowing drinks, and events that disappear into stories.

Gives a Fork is a place to eat, drink, and linger — it just happens to move around now.

A room, a table, a borrowed bar, a rooftop, a kitchen, a corner of a city that suddenly feels familiar the moment you sit down. Quirky details, good energy, bold flavours, and absolutely no pressure to behave.

We’re here for long dinners, easy brunches, cocktails that stretch the conversation, and food that’s meant to be passed around until someone says, “Wait, who took the last one?”

It’s social, relaxed, and a little mischievous . . . like being at a friend’s place who always insists you stay for one more, then somehow turns dinner into a story you’re still talking about three months later.

From Geneva to Melbourne, Mumbai, and wherever we unpack next, Gives a Fork shows up in different places, different countries, and different moods — but never the same way twice.

Every pop-up, takeover, dinner, brunch, and one-off gathering is its own little world. A unique experience built for that room, that night, that crowd, that appetite.

We like to give people a reason to come together, eat with their hands, lose track of time, and leave with something to talk about after.

Same flavour. Same chaos. New table every time.

our EVERYONE EATS ethos

As we travel, we want to leave something good behind.

Wherever Gives a Fork lands, we look for ways to cook for, contribute to, and support the communities around us — especially through local volunteering spaces, shelters, and kitchens serving people in need.

Through Fork It Forward, guests will be able to help us put extra meals, ingredients, and care back into the places that welcome us.

Watch this space for ways to Fork It Forward.

At Gives a Fork, everyone eats.

Events & Collabs

Some ideas need more than a venue. They need a mood, a menu, and a little bit of mischief.

We collaborate on dinners, launches, brand moments, pop-ups, creative projects, and strange little ideas that don’t fit neatly into a box. We help shape the food, the feeling, and the flow so the whole thing lands like an experience — not just an event.

Bring us the idea.
We’ll bring the fork.

Cooking Classes

These are not your “stand in a line and politely chop an onion” cooking classes.

Ours are intimate, colourful, instinct-led, and slightly chaotic in the best way. We cook by feeling, taste as we go, trust our guts, make things beautiful, mess things up, fix them, laugh a lot, and then eat everything.

It’s less about perfection and more about finding your flavour confidence.

Table Take Over

Your table. Our food. No hosting panic.

We come into your home and build the night around you — the menu, the mood, the pace, the plates, the little details. You get to gather your people without spending the whole evening in the kitchen pretending you’re “just quickly checking something.”

Dinner, brunch, birthday, celebration, girls’ night, date night, family chaos — we take over the table so you can actually sit at it.
